Description
On May 20, 2017, a car travelling east on Park Avenue came within centimeters of striking me as I crossed San Pablo at Park Avenue. This has occurred to me several times and I have seen others in the same predicament. Oak Club Security Officer Smith said he sees the same thing and in fact a pedestrian was struck by a car in this very intersection. A pedestrian stop light should be added to the existing light pole to ensure pedestrian safety.
